Good Ad Layout (Wireframe, backed by eye-tracking & readability research)

  • Headline (H1): 5–9 words, large, top-left. Make the first 2–3 words do the heavy lifting.
  • Hook (subhead): ≤ 20 words. One value prop; don’t bury the lead.
  • Hero image: Occupy ~45–55% of the ad. Prefer a relevant, specific image (faces perform well) over generic stock.
  • CTA strip: High-contrast button + short command label. Include a scannable QR code.
  • Legibility: Aim ~28–36pt H1, 14–16pt hook, ≥10pt small text (or x-height ≳1.5 mm). Keep all copy inside the safe area.

Tip: keep decorative fluff out; every element must earn attention in ~2–3 seconds.
