50,384 sessions, split by GA4's default channel grouping. Toggle below to see the raw channel breakdown or the simplified story: Organic, Direct, Referral, Paid Social, and the newcomer - AI Referral.

Organic Search alone (33,447 sessions) engages at 60.5% - the second-highest rate of any channel. People are actively searching for PCNAK, not stumbling onto it.
A strong brand-recall signal
27% of all sessions typed the URL or used a saved link - a healthy sign for a community that shares pcnakchicago.org by word of mouth, bulletin, and text thread.
ChatGPT, Gemini & Copilot are showing up
GA4 attributes 15 sessions to its "AI Assistant" channel. Looking at raw source/medium, at least 47 sessions arrived via chatgpt.com, gemini.google.com, or copilot.com. Even better news: Microsoft Clarity's Citation dashboard shows PCNAK is being cited in AI answers 218 times in the last 7 days - see the AI Visibility section below.
The named sources behind the channels
Every channel above is really a bundle of individual sources. Here's who's actually sending traffic, ranked by sessions.

Every named source of paid, social, and referral traffic - grouped when the same brand ran across multiple surfacesFacebook is the real social story
m.facebook.com, facebook.com, l.facebook.com and lm.facebook.com together drove 1,593 sessions - more than four separate Facebook surfaces feeding the same audience.
pcnakenglish.com is a genuine partner
409 sessions arrived as referral traffic from the English ministry's own site - the cross-linking between properties is working.
eventscoded.com is worth a look
280 referral sessions from a single third-party events directory - likely a listing worth confirming and keeping current ahead of July.
A diaspora, not just a metro
Top cities by active users. Chicago leads at home, but the reach stretches across the Keralite diaspora in North America and beyond.
Beyond North America
Kochi (428), Thiruvananthapuram (114), Bengaluru (76) and Kozhikode (40) all rank in the site's most-active cities - Kerala itself is watching Chicago prepare.
Toronto (577), Mississauga (94), Brampton (141) and Calgary (80) point to a substantial Canadian contingent worth a dedicated travel note on the Plan Your Visit page.

Across the mobile heatmap sample (32,692 taps), the "Choose a section" ministry buttons alone captured 6,768 taps - more than the header nav, more than any speaker card, more than the schedule tabs. In 2027, put ministry selection above the fold and pin it. It's the dominant conversion path.
What the schedule tool told us
348 RSVPs across 49 sessions in the built-in schedule tool - direct, session-level signal of what attendees actually plan to attend. English tracks lead Malayalam roughly 3-to-1, and Friday is by far the busiest planning day.

"Why They're Leaving: Research & Discussion on Second-Generation Retention" pulled 15 RSVPs - beating major fellowship and ministry sessions. Content on generational continuity resonates strongly with the audience.
Relationships & Church History tie at 18
Practical relationship content and rooted teaching are both essential. Repeat and expand these formats for 2027 breakout planning - the audience is voting for both.
The RSVP tool is a conversion signal
People who plan an agenda are showing intent before they've registered. In 2027, add a persistent "complete your registration" nudge inside the RSVP flow and email agenda-builders who haven't finished registering.
The next generation wants a fully digital experience
Every metric points the same way: this audience - especially the English track - plans their convention days ahead, on their phones, using the schedule tool and AI answer engines. Design 2027 around them, not around the printed brochure.
Agenda-building is a pre-convention ritual
348 people built agendas in the schedule tool before the event even started. 6,768 mobile taps hit the ministry chooser - the #1 interaction on the whole homepage. Friday alone attracted 162 RSVPs (47% of the total) - people had their day mapped by the time they walked in.
Copilot and ChatGPT are their calendar
Schedule queries dominate AI citations: 50% Share of Authority on "pcnak 2026 schedule", 40% on "pcnak 2026 chicago schedule", and 30% on "pcnak chicago 2026 dates". When Gen 2 wants to know what's happening days before, they ask AI - and it's now getting most of its answers from this site.
The site is treated like an app, not a brochure
Returning users climbed every day of convention week: 200 on Jun 28 → 951 by Jul 3. The Register page saw 5,450 sessions but only 19% new users - meaning most registrants returned multiple times before pulling the trigger. This audience checks the site the way they check Instagram.
Second-Gen Retention was a top-5 breakout
"Why They're Leaving: Research & Discussion on Second-Generation Retention" pulled 15 RSVPs - beating major fellowship and ministry sessions. Relationships and Church History tied at 18 RSVPs each. The RSVP tool told you exactly what the next generation is asking for: identity, retention, practical faith.
What to build for 2027
Six product moves that match the behavior we already measured- Progressive Web App (add-to-homescreen) - so pcnakchicago.org opens like a native app on a phone. With 98% mobile traffic on the homepage, this is where the audience already lives.
- Push notifications for session start reminders, room changes, and schedule updates. The 348 people who built agendas are the audience for this.
- Personal agenda with calendar export - one-tap "Add to Google Calendar" and "Add to Apple Calendar" on every session. Reduces the "what am I supposed to be at" friction.
- Session detail pages with speaker bios, prerequisites, related sessions, and (post-event) recordings. Give Copilot deeper content to cite.
- Live schedule updates during the convention - real-time room changes, session moves, cancellations. Push these to the app, not just to email.
- Track landing pages per ministry (English, Malayalam, Ladies, Kids, Sports) with their own agenda, speakers, and RSVP flow. English clicks are already dominant - give them a dedicated hub.
May → July: the sprint to the convention
A zoomed-in look at the last three months, pulled directly from the GA4 property. July 1–5 alone nearly matched the whole of June - four days doing the work of thirty.

Sports Tournament out-draws every ministry page Source: GA4 property (direct pull) · May 4 – Jul 5, 2026July compressed a month into 5 days
May took 31 days to produce 4,041 sessions. July 1–5 produced 9,004 - a daily run-rate roughly 17x higher than May's. Convention week is when the site earns its keep.
Registrations come from the already-committed
Only ~19% of Register-page sessions in this window were new users. Most people registering already knew PCNAK. Converting first-time visitors is the biggest untapped growth lever for 2027.
Protect the year-over-year comparison
Keep this GA4 property running after the convention, and set Admin → Data Settings → Data Retention to 14 months. GA4 Explorations are limited by that retention setting (which is why one date picker refused pre-May dates), even though standard report exports cover the full Jan 2025 – Jul 2026 history shown throughout this playbook.
The homepage's real hotspot
Click and tap heatmap exports agree, on desktop and mobile alike: the "Choose a section" ministry chooser is the single most-clicked element on the entire homepage.

On mobile, the two ministry-chooser buttons alone account for 16% of taps site-wide (5,221 of 32,692), and the mobile menu toggle is tapped nearly 5% of the time. That's a strong signal to keep the chooser above the fold and pinned, and to make sure the mobile nav stays fast and uncluttered. The 12.63% dead-click rate is worth watching too - that many people are tapping things that don't respond.
When people ask AI about PCNAK, we're the answer
Microsoft Clarity's Citation dashboard tracks how often pcnakchicago.org shows up as a source inside Copilot and partner AI answers. This is different from AI referral traffic (visits from AI) - this is AI visibility: how often we're cited when someone asks about the convention.

On the query "pcnak chicago 2026", we hold a 75% Share of Authority - Copilot cites us three times more often than every other site combined for that exact question.
Schedule questions are our biggest opening
"pcnak 2026 schedule" (50% SoA) and "pcnak 2026 chicago schedule" (40% SoA) are on the rise - the interactive schedule tool on the homepage is exactly what these searchers need. Keep the schedule crawlable.
AI referral traffic ≠ AI visibility
Clarity reports "AI referral traffic: 0" for this window - meaning nobody clicked through from Copilot to the site yet. That's normal early on: citations come first, click-throughs follow. Track this monthly.
Optimize for organic + AI traffic
Organic search and AI answer engines already deliver most of the audience. Here's what the 2026 numbers say about how to compound that growth in 2027.
Organic Where the numbers are
65% of all sessions came from organic search. Bing sent 893 sessions on top of Google's 28,358. This is the compounding channel - it needs to be optimized first.- 29,714 organic sessions from 12,751 unique users - 60.5% engaged, the second-highest of any channel. Organic visitors already convert; the ceiling is unclaimed reach, not quality.
- Homepage bounce rate: 39%. That means 61% of visitors go deeper - the highest raw engagement volume of any page (24,883 engaged sessions).
- Add Event schema (schema.org/Event) with dates, venue, price and speakers. Both Google's rich results and Copilot's grounding pull from this schema directly.
- Publish the 2027 page 4-6 months out. Google needs time to crawl, index, and start ranking. In 2026 the ranking-friendly window was compressed to weeks.
- Keep the schedule as crawlable HTML (not PDF, not JS-only). Every Copilot citation of the 2026 schedule proved this works.
AI Where the future is
AI referral traffic is still tiny (15 sessions from GA4's AI Assistant channel) but AI visibility is already strong. Grow visibility now; the traffic follows.- 75% Share of Authority on the exact query "pcnak chicago 2026" - Copilot cites this site three times more often than every competitor combined for that question.
- Schedule queries are the biggest opening. "pcnak 2026 schedule" (52% SoA) and "pcnak 2026 chicago schedule" (40% SoA) - both climbing. Own these by keeping the schedule crawlable.
- 44 sessions from chatgpt / gemini / copilot in raw source/medium. Small but growing every month. Track this monthly as a proxy for AI referral growth.
- Add FAQ schema (schema.org/FAQPage) to the Register and About pages. AI answer engines pull structured Q&A verbatim into responses.
- Publish an "About PCNAK" long-form page with the history, mission, and past themes. AI models cite authoritative context pages, not just event landing pages.
Every organic win is an AI win
Copilot, ChatGPT, and Gemini all ground their answers on the same public web that Google indexes. Ranking well in organic search directly increases the probability of being cited in AI answers. The 75% Share of Authority on "pcnak chicago 2026" and the 29,714 organic sessions come from the same investment. Optimize the site once; grow both channels twice.
The 90-day plan to a bigger 2027
Every action below is a direct response to what the 2026 data proved. Timed to T-minus days from the 2027 convention.
Publish early. Get indexed.
- Publish the 2027 landing page the moment dates and venue are confirmed. Include theme, speakers-in-progress, and a "Save the Date" CTA.
- Add Event schema markup to the homepage so Google and Copilot can ground on 2027 details months ahead of the cycle.
- Open early-bird registration with a hard deadline at T-45. Discount steep enough to matter (~15-20%).
- Email 2026 attendees with a personalized "reserve your spot" note. Returning users converted best in 2026.
Reach beyond the loyal audience.
- Facebook push — m.facebook.com, facebook.com and l.facebook.com combined for 1,570+ sessions in 2026. Boost 2-3 posts weekly.
- Sports Tournament promo — this page out-drew every ministry page in 2026. Push team registration early and hard.
- Retarget site visitors who viewed Register but didn't complete. Layer a "first-timer FAQ" landing page as the ad destination.
- First-timer email capture ("send me the schedule") to build a list of the undecided.
Program to the RSVP signal.
- Promote breakouts the audience voted for: Second-Gen Retention, Relationships, Church History — the top-15 RSVP earners in 2026.
- Full schedule live as crawlable HTML (not PDF-only). Copilot cited the schedule with 52% share of authority in 2026.
- SMS + email countdown to registrants: T-30, T-14, T-7. Keep messages short and mobile-first (audience is 90% mobile).
- Cleanup mobile friction — resolve the jQuery load-order error before promoting, tighten INP under 200ms.
Meet the audience where they are.
- Daily social posts the final two weeks — testimonials, speaker teasers, sports team lineups. Traffic will 10× naturally.
- RSVP tool → registration nudge: email the 344 people who built an agenda but haven't registered yet. This was 2026's #1 missed conversion.
- Logistics text campaign — parking, hotel shuttle, check-in details straight to registrants' phones.
- Content push on Plan Your Visit — Canadian contingent (930+ users in 2026) needs travel info surfaced early.
Turn 2027 into 2028's runway.
- Post-event thank-you email within 48 hours. Include highlight reel, and a "save the date" for 2028.
- Attendee survey — capture what worked, what to keep, and a first-look on 2028's theme direction.
- Keep GA4 running and confirm Data Retention is set to 14 months so 2028 gets a real year-over-year comparison.
- Publish a public "PCNAK by the numbers" page — this year's citation-worthy content becomes 2028's SEO and AI grounding.
